Family members, friends, colleagues, politicians, and acquaintances gathered for an evening of hope and discovery.which turned out to be an evening of success and a great time! Guests enjoyed delicious food provided by the staff of Mercer Oaks Ballroom in West Windsor, NJ, danced the night away to the live music of the Meg Hanson Band, and were inspired by the eloquent and informative speeches given by Congressman Christopher Smith and the founder of Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, Mrs. Pat Furlong. The silent auction became addictive as guests fought bid after bid to win some great prizes. It was an evening to remember raising a remarkable $20,000 for DMD research. Thank you to all who attended for your generosity, graciousness and support.
Seventy-three competitors joined together to form the largest team in this race.Team Ryan's Quest. All participants raced proudly in what we called Tri N' 4 Ryan. Team members worked diligently to gain sponsorship for this event, raising over $18,000 for Ryan's Quest. It was an amazing day, with an amazing crowd and an absolutely amazing team. Ryan was carried over the finish line by his Daddy, David Schultz as audience members cheered. The day ended with a feeling of accomplishment, success and pride as Team Ryan's Quest was given a special honor, "The Hero Award" by the New Jersey State Triathlon Committee.

A touch of Rome visited the Ninth Annual Mercer County Italian American Festival and benefited Ryan's Quest. A near-life-size replica of Rome's famous Trevi Fountain was one of the main attractions at this year's celebration of Italian heritage and culture. Guests attending this event were able to enjoy great Italian food, have fun on the many rides and make a wish for romance, luck or a trip to Rome while also helping to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
We would like to thank the Festival Founder and President, John Scarpati along with Frank Cirillo and the entire Italian American Committee for this wonderful and memorable opportunity. Your generosity and graciousness are greatly appreciated. Your idea & vision for Ryan's Quest at this affair allowed us to introduce our organization and Duchenne muscular dystrophy further into the community.
It sure felt like December at this event! This expo had a lot to offer. Thirty-five vendors provided the guests with Great Deals for a Great Cause! From jewelry and candles to handbags and home decor... there was something for everyone! Children enjoyed meeting Santa for a memorable photo and making holiday crafts with some of Santa's first-hand helpers. The smell of fresh baked goods from our Bake Sale filled the air as the joyous sound of holiday tunes played throughout the day.
